Happy Holidays!

There is no time like the holidays to work with children. Even our oldest students get excited about the holiday. While our younger students anticipate the magic associated with the season, many of our oldest students anticipate the break and the additional time spent skiing, snowboarding, or simply spending time with family and friends and, of course, sleeping in.

As I reflect on another calendar year passing, I am able to appreciate how fortunate we are as a community. We have so many things in our District to be proud of, but recently as I was walking through our hallways here at the SAU, I was overcome by the incredible generosity of our District. There were so many donations for families in need that it was difficult to get down the hall! We easily had 500 winter coats, not to mention boots, snow pants, clothes for all ages, and toys and toys and toys and toys. Thank you to all who donated to help our local families provide a wonderful holiday for our students.

Two Super Quick Surveys

Calendar for the 2020-2021 School Year

I would like to ask you to complete this brief survey to give me direct feedback about the school calendar. Just click here to participate. This will enable me to look at some themes and come up with some specific options for the calendar. I will let you know what I learn in my next post!

Communication and Engagement

Last year, I hosted Superintendent Brown Bag Lunches. Unfortunately, attendance was low and while I appreciated and learned a lot from the people I met with, I am hoping that you will complete this quick survey regarding ways that you would like to communicate and engage with the District by clicking here.

Wishing you a peaceful, safe, and joyful holiday season!

Best,

Kimberly
