Good Evening,

This evening the School Board adopted the recommendation of the district’s COVID-19 monitoring team to move into the orange phase of the reopening plan. The COVID monitoring team made up of local medical doctors, school staff, hospital personnel, county administration, and local public health officers, tracks public health data in real time in order to allow the district to quickly adapt to the constantly evolving circumstances of the pandemic.

Now that we are currently in the first remote learning segment of the school year, the ConVal District Nurses would like to make sure families are aware that all absences and illnesses still need to be reported in PickUp Patrol, or by notifying the school. Please be specific as to the reason for each absence and illness.

As the district moves to the remote learning segment of the school calendar which was approved by the school board over the summer, families will again encounter the challenges that come with the remote learning environment.
