National Technical Honor Society Inducts Students

Due to the restrictions imposed by social distancing regulations, the induction ceremony for the National Technical Honor Society was conducted online this year. NTHS is an honor society for outstanding career and technical students of workforce vocational education institutions in the United States.

Deb Coyne, the NTHS advisor at ConVal High School, explained the goals of the National Technical Honor Society before Region 14 Applied Technology Center Director Jen Kiley gave a presentation on the purpose, colors, emblem, and motto of the NTHS.

Sarah Grossi, Gil Morris, Karen Fabianski, and Abe Ewing addressed the seven attributes that NTHS student members embody: leadership, scholarship, skills, honesty, citizenship, service and responsibility.

After reciting the NTHS pledge, the following students were newly inducted into the National Technical Honor Society: Nisse Anderson, Owen Armstrong, Taylor Burgess, Haiden Burnside, Angelina Charron, Rachel Fulton, Ava Goohs, John Grady, Everett Landers, James McGuiness, Kaila Pywell, Antonio Sangermano, Alec Stetzer, Rebecca Thibault, Jaydn Vaidya, Megan Vasco, and Lorien Wright.
