The NH Business and Industry Association (BIA) is New Hampshire’s statewide chamber of commerce. Their task is to monitor and to respond to issues that directly impact businesses of all industries and sizes, and to provide them with a direct connection to the legislative process.

ConVal Senior Garrett Shows was a featured panelist on “The Exchange” with Laura Knoy this morning. The show was dedicated to the topic “Intelligent Lives: Challenging Perceptions About Intelligence and Ability.”
The show explained the benefits of inclusion, both for those who are differently abled and for the general student population at ConVal Regional High School.
Kindergarten registrations and screenings will be conducted on these dates and at the following locations:
- Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Antrim Elementary School for children living in Antrim, Bennington, Hancock and Francestown.
- Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Peterborough Elementary School for children living in Dublin, Greenfield, Peterborough, Sharon and Temple.
Every March, all voters in the district are provided with the opportunity to vote on the budget for the following school year.
In addition, there are some items that frequently appear and require voter approval, including acceptance of the auditor reports, appropriation of funds for the various district trust funds, and School Board member salaries.

Congratulations to ConVal’s German rap trio “Kussecht” who won first place at the Goethe Institute Boston Hip-Hop Battle!
On November 30th, ConVal High School sent two teams to compete at the Boston Hip-Hop Battle against teams from all over New England. Students studied German hip hop in class and then created original raps in German on the topic of “ich”
On Sunday, the ConVal Unified Soccer Team went to Exeter for the finals game and returned with the State Championship.
Dalton Coyne scored the first goal and Dylan Coyne scored the insurance goal early in the 4th period. Andres Tourgee played an outstanding game in goal, with many excellent saves.
The team as a whole played their best defensive game of the year,
ConVal Art Teacher Ben Putnam was awarded the Daughters of the American Revolution Helen Pouch Memorial Fund Classroom Grant by DAR State Regent Wendy Stanley Jones at the high school faculty meeting on Wednesday.
Sponsored by the Mary Varnum Platts-Peterborough Chapter NSDAR, Putnam was one of fifty-one awards given nationally to classroom teachers for a proposed classroom project.
