Antrim Elementary School has been awarded an Artist in Residence grant for the 2015-2016 school year. This award is made possible by appropriations from the Governor,State Legislature, and a National Endowment for the Arts grant to the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts.
Mark Ragonese, a multidisciplinary artist, will work with students and teachers in grades kindergarten through fourth to create a large wooden puzzle mural.
New staff members at the ConVal School District get to know each other at the annual New Hire Orientation on August 21, 2015. ConVal welcomed 50 new staff members this year. Assistant Superintendent Kimberly Saunders and Human Resource Director spent the morning explaining policies and procedures to new teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff. The ConVal School Board has been engaged in developing a new five year plan to move the District forward. The process of developing this plan included a District wide survey that was available online and by mail to residents of all nine towns. Once the survey results were tabulated, the District held a series of forums for stakeholders to participate in.
