Employee contributions for professional and 12-month staff will be taken in 21 pays. Employee contributions for 10-month staff, and paraprofessionals choosing 16-pays, will be taken in 16 pays. The federal healthcare reform law, known as the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), requires employer group health plans to provide enrolled and otherwise eligible individuals with a uniform, easy-to-read “Summary of Benefits and Coverage” (SBC) describing the benefits and limitations of coverage under each plan option.
