Nurse Alert: December 2020

Now that we are currently in the first remote learning segment of the school year, the ConVal District Nurses would like to make sure families are aware that all absences and illnesses still need to be reported in PickUp Patrol, or by notifying the school. Please be specific as to the reason for each absence and illness.

If your student has any symptoms of illness but is well enough to participate in remote learning, please notify your school nurse of the symptoms that the student experiences. Although most students are not in person during this time, it is still required for the school nurses to continue to track all illness across the district.

If your student is able to attend remote learning, but is quarantining at home due to direct close contact with a positive COVID case or travel outside of New England, we also ask that this information is relayed to your school nurse.

This is important information so that we can safely return to in-person learning in January, as scheduled.

If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact your school nurse.
