Dear Conval Staff,

My name is Linda Caracappa and I along with Carol Cleary, and Deb Davidson are the coordinators for the Conval Chapter of End 68 Hours of Hunger.

In January we met with the SAU 1 and received approval to start this program.  We are partnering with the SAU and have been granted space to store and pack the food.

It is with great excitement that we announce the hiring of Kimberly Saunders as Superintendent of ConVal School District (SAU #1).  Beginning in January 2016, in preparation for the Interim Superintendent role, Ms. Saunders began to work on transition to her new role and began to assume the roles and responsibilities of the ConVal Superintendent.

Goal 1 of the 2016-2021 ConVal Strategic Plan encompasses student learning and how the District can improve the effectiveness of practices, the environment for learning, and the engagement of students. One of the strategies will be submitting an application to the NH Department of Education (NHDOE) to become a SWIFT (School-Wide Integrated Framework for Transformation) School District.
